Lingnan University, a venerable institution in Hong Kong's academic landscape, has a rich heritage that dates back to its founding in Guangzhou in 1888. Known in its earlier years as Lingnan Xuexiao and subsequently as Lingnan University, the institution flourished in the field of higher education until 1952. It was reborn in Hong Kong in 1967 and has since aspired to evolve into a distinguished research-focused liberal arts university for the digital age. STPM: 3 subjects with a grade of C or above (excluding language subjects)

OR 2 AL/IAL subjects + 2 AS subjects with a passing grade (excluding Chinese and English)

English Language Requirements

In addition to the General Admission Requirements, applicants are also required to fulfil one of the following English language requirements:

Grade C in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) English Language 1119; OR •
Grade C in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysian (STPM) English Language; OR •
Band 4 (Aggregate Score: 180-219) in Malaysian University English Test (MUET); OR•
Grade B4 in UEC Senior English Language

Lingnan University Non-Local Student Scholarship

Lingnan University awards the "Non-Local Student Scholarship" to outstanding non-local students each year. This includes: Full Scholarship (covers tuition fees, accommodation fees, and part of living expenses) Half Scholarship, Full Tuition Fee Scholarship, Half Tuition Fee Scholarship.

Requirements:

Results of the Malaysian Chinese Independent Secondary School Unified Examination Certificate (UEC): Total score of 6 subjects (including English) should not exceed 12 points.

Applicants can submit their scholarship application together with their online application for admission. No separate application is required.
Applicants will be notified of scholarship decision together with the admission offer
Renewable annually subject to continued outstanding academic performance

Elite Athletes Entrance Scholarship

Successful applicants will be awarded a full scholarship that covers tuition fees and student dormitory fees. Students who meet the specified standards for scholarship renewal will have their scholarships renewed annually.

Requirements:

Applicants must meet the general admission requirements of the university and the specific requirements of individual programs.
Applicants must have outstanding achievements in sports.
